Law enforcement have published alarming video illustrating a driver performing risky drifting maneuvers around a traffic circle during an illegal car meet, putting spectators at serious danger of harm.

A 23-year-old from Southampton was given a jail term of 27 weeks, deferred for one year, after pleading guilty to reckless operation of a vehicle.
In addition, the judge imposed a one-year license suspension and mandated unpaid work along with a behavioral course.

As stated by authorities, the recording was filmed at an unauthorized car meet in the city on 28 December 2024, showing the driver driving a distinctive colored vehicle.

Official Comment
A police sergeant commented: “Local people, motorists and our roads policing teams have had enough with these groups of motorists thoughtlessly occupying streets and parking areas and we refuse to accept it.”
The officer continued: “These events are not only a complete nuisance, but they also place participants and uninvolved individuals at risk of severe harm.”
He finished: “Our efforts will persist to take legal action against these individuals and I hope these latest incidents serve as a warning: you won’t get away with it.”
